Fringe Froth

The Fringe Froth collection is an eclectic example of our continued dedication to zero-waste creativity. Each piece is hand-stitched from the tactile fringe that trimmed sumptuous Piano Shawls – a particularly popular item throughout the 19th Century. However, due to its luxurious length, the fringe was often prone to getting caught, tangled and distressed, leading to it being sadly discarded. Walid has accumulated these antique artifacts, reinvigorating them into textured designs that feel frothy and fun.
