Lampshades

A collaboration with bespoke lighting company C&R Lampshades, combining form, function and a shared love of heritage craftsmanship. Walid chose a vibrant collection of printed textiles in 19th century French cotton poplin and silk saris for this project, which the family-run team in Plymouth, England, repurposed into one-of-a-kind shades that add textured warmth to interior spaces. Each design is pleated by hand and set on a white metal frame which can be attached to your light stand.
